The Town of Rome and Adams County allow ATVs on most county roads. Check out one of our motorcycle and ATV recreation areas.

ATV

Dyracuse Motorcycle Recreation Area
Off Hwy. 13 on County Hwy. D, Rome

Located in the Town of Rome, just 13 miles south of Wisconsin Rapids. Watch, practice, or participate as motorcycles and ATV's compete in thrill-a-minute Motocross, Hill Climb, and Mud Bog racing events at the site. Situated on 240 acres, the area features two ATV tracks, two motocross tracks, and a 10-mile Enduro trail loop. Includes picnic grounds with grills, playground area, shelter house, and restrooms. Open early April-early October.

Monroe Prairie ATV Recreation Area
Archer Dr. and 15th St., Rome

Constructed in 2002 and located between Badger, Archer, 13th and 15th Avenues in the town of Rome, the park is specifically designated as an ATV only facility. The 2,500-acre site is home to miles and miles of trails, specifically built for ATV usage. Motorcycles and dirt bikes are not allowed. Trails open mid May - November 1.

Located three miles west of Port Edwards on Hwy. 54, Wood County ATV Area offers 12 miles of trails on 400 acres of forested land. A restroom facility, running water, playground, loading ramp, and an enclosed shelter are available for your convenience. Open year-round except during the deer gun season. Download a Map.
